Today I wanted to share with you Skinny Laminx for the Etsy Spotlight this week. I have been looking for fabric to cover my chair in. Now that it is finally getting cooler and the days are shorter I am feeling more into sewing and knitting all over again. I am hoping this year I can spend a little more time doing these things. Last year I was so overwhelmed with restructuring business that I am hoping this year may be more open to little projects like recovering chairs. But when I came across these amazing fabrics I fell completely in love. The colors are wonderful and not to mention how whimsical and bold the patterns are. I can see these working in almost any space from a country home full of antique quilts to a modern home full of whites and bold colors. Don't you agree?
Not only are Heather's fabrics awesome but she lives in South Africa and designs them all herself then has them printed on fabric that is handwoven right there in South Africa. Pretty awesome in my mind!
I am so in love with everything in her shop and am hoping for a reason to pick up an item or two in the near future. I may be placing these on my list for Christmas gifts to some close friends!
