This little doodle came today after we met this old man downtown by the fishing weir that was telling me how he comes to the fishing weir everyday to see the salmon swim up the ladder. He was dressed in full fishing gear even though he was not going fishing that day. It made me so happy. He knew everything about those fish and the men who worked for the DNR at the weir. I know nothing about fish really other than a few common things I learned in school but he knew it all and he dug it. To see his face light up when he talked about it all was very inspiring and refreshing.
Maybe that sounds silly but I guess it made me think more about what gets me all jazzed up (aka designing and doodling) and how happy it makes me feel everyday. What are those things in life that you are passionate about? Maybe many people don't know and maybe it is clear everyday that you have a massive obsession with avocados if so will you make me guacamole while we drink beers together?
Haha Happy Tuesday my friends!
